NDE Clarke Transmissions Ltd design, engineer and manufacture high performance driveshafts and drivelines to most configurations and specifications with either S.A.E. or D.I.N. standard flanges.

We have made our manufacturing and design facilities uniquely flexible. This means we can cater for urgent one-off production or scheduled large volumes of universal driveshafts and other power transmission components on very competitive lead times.

Light Duty Universal Driveshafts

Our competitive range of light duty Universal Driveshafts covers SAE range 1140 to 1510. The DIN range covers from 58 mm to 150 mm Flange diameter. This gives a torque transmission range from 150 Nm up to 3120 Nm.

Mechanics style joints are also available for off highway applications. As well as standard Telescopic Driveshafts we can also offer Double Joint assemblies, Fixed length, Mid Ship Shafts with support bearings and Short Coupled Driveshafts.

Applications requiring wide-angle flanges, long slip movement and balance grades to G6.3 tolerance can also be offered.

Our in-house selection software allows us to offer complete Driveshaft systems with minimal torsional twist or customized stiffness to suit a particular system. Bearing lifetime, critical speed and a t.v.a. studies can also be carried out.

Medium Duty Universal Driveshafts

Our medium duty range of Universal Driveshafts covers the SAE range from 1510 to 1900. The DIN range covers from 120 mm to 250 mm flange diameter. This gives a torque transmission range from 4000 Nm up to 24,000 Nm.

Cross-serrated Flanges from 120 mm to 180 mm diameter also fall within the range and any combination of the above can be supplied fitted to any of our propshafts.

Mechanics style joints for off highway applications and Spicer style half round and full round Joints are also available. As well as standard telescopic Driveshafts or propshafts we can also offer Double Joint assemblies, Fixed length, Mid Ship propshafts with support Bearings and Short Coupled Driveshafts.

Heavy Duty Universal Driveshafts

Our heavy-duty range of Universal Driveshafts covers the DIN range from 225 mm to 435 mm flange diameter. Face key design flanges are also available. This gives a torque transmission range from 18,000 Nm to 270,000 Nm.

As well as standard telescopic Propshafts we can also offer Double Joint assemblies, fixed length, Mid Ship Shafts with support Bearings and Short Coupled Driveshafts.
